With 100 feet of pristine waterfront on Messalonskee Lake, Pressey House offers plenty of ways to enjoy the water—whether you prefer taking in the view from shore or heading out by kayak, canoe, or paddleboard.
Built in 1850, the home was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. The Granite Suite is located on the ground floor of the octagon, while the Ell Suite connects the octagon to the barn, where you’ll also find the Loft and Terrace suites.
Located In The Belgrade Lakes Region
The Pressey House is located in Oakland, Maine, in the heart of the Belgrade Lakes region at the north end of Messalonskee Lake. In the summer, guests can enjoy swimming, boating, water skiing, and fishing. During the winter months, the area is perfect for skating, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and ice fishing.
